Jessica is Jana’s sister, built-in best friend, and daily phone call partner. If Jana has news (big or small), Jessica has already heard about it. Jessica and her husband, Burt, have joined Jana and Matt on many adventures from traveling together, baseball games, and cooking classes. They live in Houston with their two boys, Ty and Nolan, who are Jana’s very spoiled and much-loved nephews. Jana could not imagine this day without her sister by her side.

Christy is Jana’s lifelong best friend. They first met as kids in Sunday school at Lakewood United Methodist Church and have been inseparable for over 35 years. Through all of life’s ups and downs, they’ve celebrated the good times, supported each other through the curveballs, and shared countless laughs along the way. Their friendship is built on love, loyalty, and always being there when it matters most. Christy and her family are family to Jana. Christy and her husband, Josh, have two grown children, Lilly and Bailey. Jana has been part of their lives since the day they were born.

Robert and Matt have been best friends since middle school, forming a bond that’s lasted through every stage of life. They attended both high school and college together at Texas State, and Matt had the honor of standing as a groomsman in Robert’s wedding. Their friendship faced its greatest test when Robert moved to New York and (briefly) became a Yankees fan, though their mutual love for the Green Bay Packers kept them close. Today, Robert lives in League City, Texas with his wife, Meagan, and their two daughters, Kennedy and Brooklyn (who know Matt best as "Uncle Matt").

Patrick met Matt in college, where the two quickly bonded over their shared love of sports and became roommates during their college years and later in Houston. Their friendship has been fueled by countless sports debates and a mutual obsession with fantasy baseball, with Patrick earning the rare distinction of being the only person Matt trusts to manage his team when he’s out of the country. Originally from Houston, Patrick now lives in Los Angeles with his son, Teddy (AKA Teddy H-Town). Despite the move, he remains a loyal Houston sports fan and organizes Texans watch parties at a local North Hollywood bar.

Jana first met David in 2013 and they instantly connected. David is a member of Jana's circle of friends, lovingly called, The Divas! When Jana introduced Matt to the group, David made it a point to get to know him too, and the two quickly bonded over their shared love of baseball and play on words. When Jana and Matt began planning their wedding, they both knew there was only one person they wanted to perform the ceremony. David knows their story, their friendship, and their relationship well, making him the perfect person to help them start this next chapter together. David lives in Houston with his partner, Paul, and their dog, Walter.
